Dr Thornton-Bott is a Hip and Knee surgeon who has particular interest in primary and revision arthroplasty. I use proven techniques, computer navigation, minimally invasive surgery, targeted pain control, early mobilisation and rapid recovery to optimize patient outcomes. I am recognised as a Specialist in both Australia and the UK. I undertook all of my Surgical Training on the prestigious Oxford University Hospitals Orthopaedic Training Scheme. I am fortunate enough to have worked in world-renowned hospitals including The Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, The John Radcliffe Hospital and The Mater Hospital in Sydney, the only ISOC Centre in Australia. (International Society of Orthopaedic Centres of Excellence). I undertook a further 2 years of sub-specialty fellowship training at The Mater Hospital in Sydney.
